ARTWORK & SETUP
At RGL Promotions, we handle all artwork and setup in-house, ensuring a smooth, efficient process from design to production. Whether you require embroidery, clothing printing or non-textile print, our experienced team will guide you on the best file formats and preparation to achieve the highest quality finish.
We understand that not every customer has print-ready artwork — that’s why we offer flexible support, practical advice and professional design assistance whenever needed.

Embroidery
We complete all embroidery digitising in-house. This means, unlike many larger companies, we are able to keep your setup costs to a minimum.
As a general rule, we only charge a setup fee for very intricate or complex designs, and this is applied at our discretion. Because embroidery artwork must be digitised and recreated into stitch format, having a vectorised file is not essential.
Although we always ask for artwork to be supplied in the highest resolution format possible, embroidery designs are recreated during the digitising process to ensure accurate stitching, clean detail and professional results.
By managing everything internally, we maintain quality control and keep turnaround times efficient.
Clothing Printing
For textile printing, we ask that all artwork is supplied in the highest resolution format possible.
Ideally, artwork should be provided as:
-
A vectorised PDF, or
-
A transparent high-resolution PNG file.
We can work with other formats such as JPEG or bitmap files; however, there will be a setup fee starting from £10 to recreate these into a print-ready format.
Print files do not need to be supplied scaled to size, as we can resize artwork to suit the garment and print area requirements.
Our in-house setup process ensures your design is prepared correctly for the chosen print method, delivering sharp, vibrant and professional results on every garment.

Non-Textile Printing
For printed products such as business cards, flyers, brochures, signs and promotional materials, we ask that all designs are supplied in as high-resolution, print-ready format as possible.
Where possible, artwork should be supplied as:
-
A vectorised PDF, or
-
A transparent high-resolution PNG file.
If artwork is not supplied in these formats — or if we create the design for you — a setup charge will apply. Please contact us to confirm bleed and safe zone requirements for your specific product to ensure accurate production.
We understand that for business cards, flyers, signs and similar products, you may not always have vectorised files prepared. Often, you may simply have an idea or rough layout in mind.
That’s not a problem.
We have a wide range of templates for these products which we are happy to customise to suit your business branding, colours and details. Alternatively, send us your ideas and we will work closely with you to create your perfect design.
As all artwork and production are handled in-house, we can provide consistent quality, clear communication and an efficient process from initial concept through to final product.
