SAFE is a non-profit organisation based in Durban, South Africa. They help with rescue, rehabilitation and rehoming of abandoned, abused, and unwanted puppies and dogs. SAFE FOSTERING NETWORK NPC – Saving animals through fostering and education

SAFE's vet bill sits monthly at approx. R120,000 (roughly £5000), and they are now 3 months behind with 3 dogs still needing life changing surgery.

They have a foster network which support dogs which come into their care until the dog is healthy and new homes are found. They provide everything for the foster, so if we can help in anyway to provide these items in the below 'foster pack' and save them that cost, so they can direct all money they have into their vet bills it would make a big difference.

Similarly, items like Bravecto which are an essential for these dogs. Biliary is currently the most common infectious disease in dogs in South Africa and is transferred via ticks. If a dog is left untreated, the dog may die in a matter of days or suffer long term damage to the kidneys or liver.

SAFE also operates a feeding, vaccination and sterilization program in local impoverished townships. Without SAFE these dogs would not get any of this and ultimately they die from an infectious disease or starve. SAFE uses 1.5 tonnes of food a month feeding over 300 dogs, as well as keeping them up to date with Nexgard, this relies solely on donations. Once again if you can help by purchasing a bag of food and a monthly dose of Nexgard this would make a huge difference.
